Sample Wine Reviews

Thankyou for visiting the verymuchgrape wine site.

Our key aim is to record all Australian and New Zealand vineyards and wines and provide details of each - including your opinions on wines you have tasted.

If you would like to leave a review of your recent tastings simply use the Database Search pages to find the relevant wine and then follow the simple instructions.

We hope you find the site useful - we are adding records all the time and are always happy to hear of any updates.

In coming weeks we will be adding further functionality so please check back with us from time to time!

Our Database....

We have developed a database that we believe contains most of the vineyards and wines of Australia and New Zealand.

Seresin Estate Malbec (1998)

Deep, strong, earthy, savoury wine with a slightly herbal influence. A fascinating and unusual style - Malbec is more commonly used in blended reds. (Reviewed by Bob Campbell, Cuisine Magazine Nov 2000)

Wolf Blass Yellow Label South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon (2000)

Not bad - good quality and lots of interest - perhaps a bit overpriced (Reviewed by Avo)

Tgallant Imogen Pinot Gris (2000)

This is a new label from Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy, pioneers of Australian pinot gris. The difference between Imogen and their flagship pinot gris Tribute is that this is a lighter style at a lower price, designed to encourage those unfamiliar with the variety to give it a go. The nose is rich and full, balanced by good acid and gentle flavours of apricot, quince and blanched almond. This is a well proportioned pinot gris. Be careful not to serve it too cold. (Reviewed by Wine Magazine, Dec/Jan 2000)
